07.06.10 - McCabes Pharmacy - Flora Mini Marathon The women’s Flora Mini Marathon took place on 7th of June and the ladies at McCabes Pharmacy in Malahide competed to raise funds on behalf of the Laura Brennan Charitable Trust. Leading up to the event the staff at McCabes raised awareness in the shop to all their clients who gave them tremendous support and encouragement.
On the day itself the weather was not too kind to the competitors but this did not dampen the spirit of the girls from McCabes. There may have been no world records broken in terms of race times however all the hard work and effort was rewarded when a total of €600 was raised for the trust.
