Gala Evening - 12th February 2011

The third annual Laura Brennan Charitable Trust Gala Evening took place on Saturday the 12th February 2011. This year’s event once again was sold out with over 220 people looking forward to another successful evening. The venue was the wonderful Grand Hotel in Malahide and began with a Champagne reception. The MC for the night was Darragh O'Brien. Nuala & Pat spoke about the activities of the Trust over the past 12 months and that the Trust is now funding a number of children. Nuala read out a beautiful letter that she received from one of the children Mary Kate (click here to see Mary Kate’s beautiful letter).

A Latin American dance act provided the after dinner entertainment and was followed by an Auction hosted by local auctioneer Denis Drumm. The music once again was provided by the fabulous Eclipse/Abbavous who ensured that the dance floor was full all evening. Our sincere thanks to all who attended this fabulous event and who continue to support the efforts of the Trust – we really look forward to seeing you all again next year.
