The 6th annual Laura Brennan Charitable Trust Gala Evening took place on Saturday the 1st March 2014. This year's event once again was sold out with over 200 people looking
forward to another successful evening. The venue was the wonderful Grand Hotel in Malahide and began with a Champagne reception.
Nuala & Pat welcomed everyone and spoke about the work of the Charity over the past 12 months and the difference that the charity is making to the lives of so many children.
They also spoke about the numerous fundraising events that had taken place during the year and expressed their heartfelt thanks to all those involved. Everybody was presented
with a booklet explaining in more detail how the charity has helped so many children
(click here to view a copy of the booklet) as well as given a charity bracelet bearing an
inscription from Laura's own Bebo site - "Life's Too Short to be Anything But Happy - LB". The after dinner entertainment was provided by The Needables who released their
new single 'Rainy Day Blues' in aid of the Laura Brennan Charitable Trust on the 1st March 2014 with all of the proceeds going to the charity. The single is currently available
on iTunes to download - simply search for 'The Needables'.
Our sincere thanks to all who attended this fabulous event and who continue to support
the efforts of the Trust - we really look forward to seeing you all again next year.
