Gala Evening - 12th March 2016

The 8th annual Laura Brennan Charitable Trust Gala Evening took place on Saturday the 12th March 2016. This year's event once again was sold out with approximately 220 people looking forward to another enjoyable and successful evening. The venue was the wonderful Grand Hotel in Malahide and began with a Champagne reception.

This year our MC for the evening was the fabulous Sile Seoige. Nuala & Pat welcomed everyone and spoke about the work of the Charity over the past 12 months and the difference that the charity is making to the lives of so many children. We were delighted to have Fiona Murphy speak on the night about the support The Laura Brennan Charitable Trust has been able to offer her son Donal. Nuala also read out a letter from Gerry & Una O'Shea about the help that The Laura Brennan Charitable Trust has given to their daughter Hannah. It was fantastic to hear from Fiona, Gerry & Una and they gave all in attendance a true feeling and understanding of the impact their fantastic support throughout the years is making.

The after dinner entertainment was provided by The Singing Diva Waiters and Back For Good. The Singing Diva Waiters got the evening off to a powerful, entertaining start with their impromptu array of songs just after dinner. Back For Good ensured that the dance floor remained full all night long.
